In 2010, the international cycling family has a date in Canada, at the Grand Prix Cycliste de Québec. On Tuesday, September 7, 2010, more than 400 professionals from the world of élite cycling will arrive in magnificent Québec City. The presentation of this international cycling competition over the next five years is part of ongoing efforts by municipal authorities to bring international sporting events to Québec City.


The Grand Prix Cycliste de Montréal, a new event on the ProTour Circuit, brings the world’s cycling élite to North America in September 2010. Beginning on Saturday, September 11, Montréal will welcome the greatest riders along with support staff and officials from the top tier of international cycling—more than 400 people in all. The presentation of this prestige cycling competition over the next five years is an admirable demonstration of the City of Montréal’s desire to contribute actively to the globalization of élite cycling.
